A big 'thank you' for the rich words. I value your comments about my work probably more than anyones, Jon, but I would like a little clarification on this one, if I may ask, simply to understand more about the rationale for your comment! Let me explain.

I very nearly didn't post this. I liked the guys expression but it's very simple as a shot - a deep alley, converging parallels and a single figure in the lane - not world shattering in it's composition.

I think that "Go on, ask him why me?", for example, is streets ahead (pardon the pun) in having some 'action' and what could be construed as a comment on the pain and frustration of life as a handicapped person. "Embracing Capitalism" also, I thought, said more as a social comment. Even "Polish Deli" has something to say about life in the UK today!

So, why do you think that this one may be my 'finest yet'? Hope you don't mind me asking!

I think it`s based purely on an aesthetic personal choice Len.
You know I love Street and my fav style of street is a lone figure interacting or being embraced by the environment that surrounds him/her and this fits the bill perfectly
Plus (to me at least) the character has to be of interest and appealing...I really like this old geezer and find his thoughtful stance and gaze really adding to the shot and he presents you with bags of curiosity as to what`s going on in his head,if it were some random hoody walking down the alley with his hands in his pockets,it simply wouldn`t be the same

Everything else you mentioned most certainly are damn fine examples of everyday street life in the UK and they sit very well in their own lil place and all tell a story too, none of them I find are as visually appealing as this though, which was probably taken in Grenada anyway yeah?

Hope some of that made sense my good friend
