if you watch the first episode on the disc for season two, "the avatar state" there's a part in the storyboard version of the episode where sokka is sleeping on the boat under the moon.
and i gotta say, that was part of what inspired me to do this picture in this way

yeah, the glow was a very important part of this pic, since i wanted to make sure people realized this was after her becoming the moon spirit, it just sets the right tone :>
