You know how sometimes old clothes get turned into sleep or lounge wear? I know I have a few old shirts that I toss on when I get comfy for bed... Keeping that train of thought, I assume Samus has taken her alternate costume from her first mission, and has retired it to sleepwear. Sure, her hair isn't green, but that was just a phase she went through when she was younger...Alternate "Light" version:

I wouldn't call it "true dark", more like "cartoony, stylized dark". I assume there's some soft light in the room, or else it'd be pitch black in space, what with no moon to reflect light.

It's really interesting how just changing up the colour palette slightly alters someone's perception of something.

Perfectly executed. The relaxed form and playfully simple designs are really nice - plus sneaking the other butt-cheek in there is super sneaky, you sly dog.
I think I prefer this dark version, as it really adds to the overall mood.

I like the dark version too, but a lot of people seem to like the colors in the light version. The dark version just seems more contextually accurate, I guess.
