I was inspired to draw this little lady after watching Critical Role's One-Off game of Pathfinder, where the players played as Goblins. "Piglet" was my favorite.
Just a note: This isn't Piglet, just inspired (Piglet is missing an ear and has a piece of shoulder armor for a hat XD).

One of my top favorite Artists also likes Critical Role! That's like birthday and Christmas combined.
I was slightly sad to read about your commission-hiatus (but I certainly understand AND support it!) because I wanted to have some VM Fanart work thrown your way, but I decided that I rather lean back and watch the awesomeness of your original creations take over for a while and see how things progress.
To sum it up: I really like your art and look forward to see more, commissioned or not.

Thank you very much for the kind words! And yeah, Critical Role is a pretty rad show! I love the attention they are bringing to Tabletop Roleplaying games in general.
As for myself, I am just finishing up the last 2 commissions on my list, and then I will start posting new art like mad! I am very excited for it! Personal work is much easier for me to produce on a regular basis, since I don't have to check with anyone during the process. I realize that there are a lot of people that are disappointed about me taking a hiatus from commissions, but it had to happen. I've been going solid for about 4 years straight, so it's about time I switch gears for a while.... But rest assured that commissions will come back eventually! I just need to get some of these ideas of my own out of my head and into the world.

The actual series is played in Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, actually. They just played Pathfinder for this one Goblin episode. Here's the first episode with the main cast:

I just started up again after many years of not playing. I used to play 2nd edition, back in the day... I've been playing 5th edition with some friends for the last few months. I role a fighter! It's been fun, our DM is pretty good, and keeps things VERY challenging, but doable.

When I first started playing I was doing so on aol chat rooms using DnD 3.5 then stopped playing for six years. I then picked it back up when I joined the military playing pathfinder. Went back to 3.5 until I convinced my friend to go pathfinder. Then when I was in korea 5th edition came out and I tried it out. Wasn't my best experience, but I was playing with a bunch of newbies so yeah. But I totally get you, I had fun playing a fighter too, they fixed a LOT of problems they had in the game making it more player firendly. And yeah if you have a good DM those little CR 1/2 fights become CR 3 fights. XD

I have never played over chat! I like rolling dice in the same room. But I can see the benefit if you can't get together with your group! And yeah, I think that playing with newbies can dampen any experience, if they don't know how to stay focused. It's important to keep the story going, and combat seems to be one of the major places where things tend to hang up. People rule mongering or haggling, or meta gaming... or arguing... All of that can really dampen any game, regardless of the rules. But hey, the old systems worked fine, and so if you like those (or others like Pathfinder) then that's cool! Things have certainly come a long way since D&D 1st edition!
