Hi and thanks! I don`t remember how this started i was just sketching and playing with shapes... I think robots and stuff are fun to draw and paint because you can use your imagination and just put in anything you like . So.. when it had something on it i knew i wanted to make a masked one. I try different shapes with the overall face and just draw and paint until it looks like something i like. I don`t think much at this point just painting and playing with different brushes and shapes. After it`s coming together i start to make more details. I`m using Photoshop cs3 btw... Colouring is still very hard for me so i`m using hue/saturation option and Colour balance option to help me. I usually put the colours in when the picture starts to take shape. I`m kinda new at drawing and also with Photoshop so i don`t know if i can help you much..? For me different tutorials have been very helpful.
