We saw Angie and Dale in pup but their names were finally given in Mystery Inc, same with Colton and Paula Rogers. Fred's parents were the last to be revealed too bad that mama and daddy doo didn't appear in Mystery Inc, they would have been the cool parents, even though Angie appears to become one just like Brad and Judy originally were and Nan became one too. I only think Shaggy's parents were really dissaproving of it since the others eventually came around.

In the main continuity Daphne's parents are named Nedley and Elizabeth.

I know the main continuity, but most people will be coming into Scooby either through WNSD or Mystery Inc so it's better to use the Mystery Inc names first then go back and explain the original.

To my knowledge that name was never used on air in any episode that they appeared in whether it was pup or new scooby doo mysteries. Prior to 2010 no name was given besides Mr. and Mrs. Rogers or their titles of ma and pa. If that name was used in a comic book then point me to the book, but books are also non-canon. The only thing that is canonthese days are the dtv movies and anything from 1969-2008's tv shows, but names of parentals are borrowed from mystery inc because it's the only legit source we've got even if the show itself is not canon to the world of Scooby Doo.

Yes Dr.Daisy, Model Dorthy, Driver Dawn, Drill Sgt.Delilah and an unamed astronaut i'm going to call her Debbie since all blake girls have d names four getting cool nicknames like Detective Daphne.

There should be a next generation series.

Here's my idea:

Fred and Daphne's son Frank solves mysteries with Shaggy and Velma's identical twin daughters Mindy and Nicole and son Casey.

Frank takes after Fred in almost every way, looks and personality. He is tall and athletic with blue eyes and reddish blond hair. Typically his attire consists of a blue shirt with a purple collar and a green ascot and blue jeans. He has his father's love of traps which he developed at a very young age using that skill to capture himself his first pet, a rabbit. Traits he inherited from Daphne include his unbridled optimism, his devotion to his girlfriend (Mindy) and the ability to comfort others.

Mindy is an amalgam of both Shaggy and Velma, as is Nicole. Identical in almost every way, the Rogers twins have both inherited their mother's genius intellect as well as their father's appetite and cowardice. There are of course a few differences.

Mindy like her mother is quiet and analytical. Having been taught how to hack by Velma from an early age, she can access any internet database on earth without leaving a trace. Having inherited Shaggy's appetite, she like Nicole is always seen with large amounts of food. Unlike her sister however she has inherited Shaggy's metabolism as well. Like her mother she is five feet four inches tall and weighs 110 lbs. Her usual wardrobe consists of a green turtleneck with orange sleeves, a green pea coat, a brown skirt. Like their mother Mindy and Nicole have vivid green eyes and brown hair and wear glasses. 

Nicole like her father is goofy and clowning as a way of coping with her cowardice. While her sister learned how to hack, Nicole learned the art of disguise from Shaggy. Having not inherited her father's metabolism to temper her appetite, she is quite fat at almost 350 lbs. Despite her weight, she like her sister and mother is quite attractive and is quite agile. She is usually seen wearing a orange t-shirt and red jeans. She like her father and sister is a talented cook. She is usually seen with her younger brother who looks and acts like their father exactly and Scooby's grandson.

Mindy and Frank are madly in love with each other. Wherever one is the other is never far behind.

The original gang can never resist joining in on their kids' fun either. Shaggy now works as a successful cartoonist and provides his son and daughters with advice on evading danger. Velma now works in the local crime lab and is always willing to analyze whatever clues Mindy brings her way. Fred is of course ecstatic that his son has picked up his interest in traps and often helps him improve upon his skill. Now an investigative reporter Daphne is often able to provide the kids with new leads in many cases.

Wow, that's awesome, I love how you came up with the next generation of the Scooby Doo saga. I think Scooby Doo's pup should be a girl, and unlike her father, is actually brave and good at collecting clues. I do sympathize with Nicole, I've always had trouble with slow metabolism. Anyway, great work coming up with them. Wonderful.

I figured Nicole would be the type of fat girl who enjoys her corpulence, so she could be a positive example of being happy with herself. Also the dog would have to be Scooby's granddaughter since great danes only live 7 to 9 years and the Rogers twins would probably be about 16.

Scooty-Doo? It could work, I guess. I think it should be an hour long 2 shows in 1 series like Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt. The first half could feature Scooty and her generation and the second half could be a flashback episode with wraparounds featuring Shaggy or Velma relating the adventure to their kids. I also think in season one, They'd have to use a smaller scale forensics lab in the Rogers family's basement because Velma would be on maternity leave while pregnant with a fourth child. Man I gotta suggest this idea to Warner Bros.

Oh my gosh, I remember Dynomutt! I watched it in the '80's and it was the coolest. Oh sure, he could be sort of like a mentor to Scooty, and they would work well together because like I said, unlike her grandfather, Scooty is actually brave...although not exactly a genius. Well, I should say an ancestor of Dynomutt. Who knows if he'll be around for the next generation, but with him being mostly bionic, it could be possible.

The way I see it, Shaggy and Velma would be the most frequently recurring parents in the future generation and Fred would be the least. It could even be a hour long show with one segment featuring the next generation and the other being a flashback narrated by either Shaggy or Velma with their kids in the framing story.

for those meddling kids' kids! Ha!

When I was younger, I actually had an outline of a fanfiction called "Shelby Doo And Another Mystery Too!", in which Scooby had a daughter named Shelby, and Shaggy had a daughter named Dawn, but she was WAY different from her dad...she was actually brave. But that was YEARS ago, I don't even remember the details!
