Shazama Pajama
Hit a little snag on a commission so I thought id draw just what ever popped into my head, and for some reason "Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland" came to mind. I think i might try and do a series of doodles like this of obscure anime or video game characters

Yeah, I really think they outta redo this movie into a live-action fantasy-action film. And make things cooler! For example, instead of a kiddie name like "Slumberland," call the fantasy dream world....maybe "Subconcia." Derived from the word "subconscious" where dreams for the most part are made.
And have Nemo's bed do more than fly, or stretch its legs, no, have it turn into a flying space pod with laser beams, missiles, and cannons!
And for the love of love, make Camille and Nemo bond over more than just playing together!
Maybe you could also take some inspiration from the ending of "The Wizard of Oz," and improve the ending by having Nemo believe that it was all real, and that he wants to go back someday instead of having his parents come in and tell them they're going to the circus thus causing Nemo to forget his dream!
That could set the stage for a sequel! That's one thing about Little Nemo that saddens me. There should have been a sequel...Β

I thought he looked badass. I mean you dont see villains like this everyday. Plus this looks like an enemy Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice could take on if allied with Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat, Oswald the Rabbit, Bugs Bunny, and Woody Woodpecker. I mean the Nightmare King could be capable of taking over other worlds in dreams.

All I heard was KA-ME-HA-ME-HA! when he charged it. Weird this character and the series was, the video game is awesome and NES hard I believe but still worth playing. The movie I enjoyed it and have a soft spot for because it was the first animated piece of media i saw in my life. Now despite what the Nostagila Critic said (its the only review I've seen for it and the facts abut the history of the movie) I liked the movie and I still like the movie for what it is and what it tried to be.
...but fuck Flip, seriously.

Wow, man. This piece brings back a lot of good memories of this movie. I still have it on VHS believe it or not!^^ This was perhaps one of the very first anime movies I ever saw when I was little, before I even knew what anime WAS. I watched this movie even before my bro and I watched My Neighbor Totoro for the first time.XD All in all, Excellent work on this sketch man.
