This is one of the most satisfiying moments when i play SSFIV online. XD
Although i don't have anything against Ryu, it IS kind of annoying how easy and safe you can land his long and damaging combos (and even combine them with his ultra),
while you need to spend hours with characters like Makoto or Gen in training mode and still might loose fights because your input wasn't perfectly done... -_-

Using Makoto is like the ancient art of quick draw. If you get your attacks in first, you will do MAJOR damage. But if they hit you, then that's all she wrote.
It takes more skill to use Makoto in my opinion, especially since they nerfed her down for SSFIV... >(

You're totally right about that.
I looked up the tier-list of SFIII third strike, and makoto is on the top.
However, in ssfIV she is second bottom tier... (only Dan ranks lower. XD )
I hope that as soon as the DLC-characters and new outfits are out, they'll also balance the character a bit... (meaning: buffing makoto a lot! XD)
