Description
I made this for 's competition "Ancient Realms" linkThis is Anubis, the Egyptian God of Embalming and Mummification. In the left corner I wrote "Anubis" with hieroglyphs.
I really love ancient Egyptian culture and mythology and this is a drawing I had in mind for a while. I'm glad I found the time to finally do it. Hope you like it.

A nifty Anubis indeed. I think you successfully captured the dual nature of the god, both the human part and the animal. Love the eyes. Simple background but there is no doubt we are in Ancient Egypt.
