Another OVERLORD fanart.

I kept trying to find a good references for it through the internet, but it wasn't so easy.
The problem is that this character on most of the pictures looks so damn bad. Yet again, I had to rely on So-bin, as with Ainz.

Thanks to So-bin for the wonderful illustrations for the first volume of OVERLORD novel.
They set me up on a serious mood when I read the novel. As a result, I had great pleasure reading it (and re-reading it afterwards).

But the creators of manga and screen adaptations apparently forgot that Cocytus is huge fu..king ice ant of
warrior class with 4 hands and a bunch of weapons! In Yggdrasil, he's kind of a raid boss,
so I'm not very pleased to see him as some bloated plastic dumbass!(same for Ainz by the way).
Also thanks to this guy and his lineart , he gave me some inspiration.

I tried to draw Cocytus as he should look like in my opinion
(of course, without going too far away from the image of this character created by So-bin, as I did with previous arts).
I generally like more details in drawings, more realistic and closer to reality,
but animes usually spoil everything that can be spoiled by all sorts of simplifications in drawing style.

At least he does not look like a robot for kids entertainment.
I hope that you share my thoughts.
