Well, this is Yandoro Dragmyn, from my series Henshin. This is basically somewhat of a concept drawing; I wanted to see how Yandoro would look like with my current drawing skills.I actually did quite good, if I say so myself.
I once had a dream in which my manga was ACTUALLY PRINTED!
Ahhh, best dream I ever had...
When I finished this, this actually looked very close to what Yandoro looked like when I flipped through the manga. I was joyful ^_^
You may notice, however that there's no background. Yes, I still haven't practiced drawing backgrounds... D:
Anyways, the mediums I used were a mechanical pencil, an eraser, and Prismacolor colored pencils.

The hat kinda reminds me of Oddjob from the old James Bond series. ..Or a Rabbi.. Might look better in a Fedora?

Yea.. Fedora's have that lil subtle lift in the back. Nor flat all the way around.

That's a pretty nice dream. I had similar one but i also got a movie deal.
Yeah Backgrounds can be a hassle. but it's best not to ignore them, especially if you're making a Manga.
