2nd AP piece, still going strong!!!!!!!!
I had a really really hard time with colors for this one bc I wanted it to be daytime but ultimately that did not work so I guess we have dusk now. shrug?????
a lot of parts are really wonky to me still so,,,,, huh I dunno I'll probably come back and fix it in february or something

i've decided that my theme is going to be isolation and I want to try to convey that to the viewer with a sense of unease, like they're in a setting that they're not supposed to be in. I want the subject matter of my pieces to try to convey the fact that the viewer is alone through just a barren/flat/deserted looking background and one singular subject (fav.me/ddgu47l ) or a wider, more expansive and endless background and one singular subject (this one.)

for the next I think i'll try to have multiple "identical" subjects to express the same vibe yknow. tbh I'm not even sure if I'm getting my point across but well if I get a 1 during portfolio evaluations at least I will have gotten better at painting this year LMAO

also this buddy is supposed to be a coyote but honestly I can't draw anything at all so he can be anything you want
