Description Another Conte piece, not much to say except the chair was a complete bugger to draw, the red conte pencil seemed alot softer and there was red dust everywhere and the silly bugger of a pencil kept going blunt which annoyed me no end.

I think I might give the contes a rest after this one...

Hey, very bold looking. The solid red really gives it a whole different look than if you'd just done it with black. I like it for that. It's different. I've never thought of drawing something entirely in a different color....

I'm ashamed to admit my ignorance, but what's a "Conte"?

Hi man thanks , Im a through and through pencil guy been trying paints at the moment but they dont feel as comfortable as pencil. Contes (name of the manufacturer rather than name of the medium) are basically pastel in a pencil formit makes it much easier to draw and less messy. I been using the contes to try and bring some variation to my pencil scribblings heh..

Ooooooo, Contes sound quite interesting...are they expensive you think?

Yeah, I haven't devoted enough time to painting, so I can't get what's in my head down on canvas properly with a brush. Plus, there is too much waiting time for the paint layers to dry, and I hate that. I commend anyone who can successfully paint.

Hmm contes cost a bit more compared to colour pencils I started by getting a small set and drawing with them they arent half bad, Im just a messy fucker and they hate me lol.

I think anyone who can make art with pencil like you can should have no trouble with paint, seriously it takes alot longer but is also more rewarding.

hi mooseman hows it going ? thanks for the comment.. the contes are cool its taken a while to get used to them but Im getting the hang of it. It bugs me that I have to be so neat.. Im not normally like that hehehe
