we too but at time they are just two, they other was to old and died a time ago. next year we get some new ones

Nyaa its always hard with those little guys...pets with short lifespans are sad sometimes...We had 7 baby-birds this year, so generations just exchanged each other^^
I just hope winter don´t get to hard, we hold them outside with a tempered room they can go to, but sometimes one sleeps outside and freezes >.<

we have this problem to. we try to heat the room but we don't know how we can do it....

We took a heatingplate, oh warte du kommst aus Deutschland
Aaalso, wir haben eine Heizplatte for Vogelbäder unter einer Plastikabdeckung. Die heizt nur auf 30° um die daraufstehende Tänke eisfrei zu halten. Allerdings herrschen im Innenraum trotz Flugloechern in der Wand immer knappe 13°, nicht sonderlich warm, aber genug. Meine Mom hat den Raum auch mit Styropor und zwei Holzschichten isoliert^^

ja, ich komme aus deutschland
wir hatten da jahrelang zebra finken, kanarienvögel und andere ziervögel, es hat immer geklappt aber seit dem die winter härter werden klappts nicht mehr. wir beheizen zwar im häuschen nebenan aber das wird im innenraum denoch nicht wärmer als 10°C obwohl das rohr auch quer durch die volieren verläuft.
ich will nächste woche dort die wände etwas dämmen. und polstermaterial für die näster auslegen. mal schauen obs klappt.
