I don't know if you remember me but I 'met' you @ Elfia Arcen the other day 
See you don't have your faun costume-pics on here yet but wanted to ask you some things nonetheless if I may
First: how did you make your hooves, and how hard was it walking on them the entire day? Was it a shoe with the heel cut off or you stood on your toes the entire day? I doesn't seem very comforable either way
Second: what material/technique did you use to make your shoulder, breast, arm enz armour? Always wondered that and never got to find out.
You looked great, and you were the only fellow-faun I stumbled upon that day, so thanks for taking picture time.
BTW no idea why I'm doing this in englis, you're from Belgium right?

Heya! Yeah I remember you! You were that awesome Faun 
And no problem, I don't mind you asking, I like to help when I can ^^ so firstly, I made them out of Worbla and some kind of molding plastic, and used some high heels, cut off the heels. I'm not that crazy enough yet to walk just on my toes the whole day xD Aye, it hurts after 3-4hrs, and they weren't comfortable, I actually fell 2 times 
Second; also Worbla and craft foam ^^Β

Thanks a lot! I agree you have to suffer a bit when you cosplay but it is also nice to be able to enjoy your day a little bit haha, so I think I will skip the heelless-shoe-technique and figure something out with wedges and lots of fur or something.Β
Thanks for the worbla tip, I looked it up and it is awesome, only also quite expensive and hard to find in The Netherlands. Is it available in Belgium?
Are you going to go to Elfia Haarzuilens 2015 or something else as a faun too? The same or a new cosplay?

That's awesome! I can really see you in something winter/innocence-like faun thingy, think it really fits you. What kind of legs will you be making, the same as for Arcen? I will look out for you at Haarzuilens
Are you also going to FACTS Gent btw? I go on saturday, I usually go in my regular outfit because I want to buy (big) stuff. On the other hand, I don't have money to buy anything this year, so I'm thinking about going in my faun-cosplay. It's indoors so that's good, on the other hand, it's a lot of walking and crowded and my shoes kinda hurt. What you think? I can't remember if many people cosplay on FACTS either tbh.Β

Cosplay is getting more and more popular at FACTS, last year there were a lot of cosplayers, this year they're saying about 480 cosplayers will attend FACTS 2014

Just as my boring self haha. I always do a lot of walking/shopping/sightseeing that day so I decided to go for the comfortable, save choice in the end. Probably good because it was damned hot and busy pff. I saw someone dressed as a faun with brown legs on stilts, but when I saw her 20 mins later, she was walking around without the stilts and seemed a lot happier haha. Also we had early bird tickets: we had to be there at 8 in the morning, so left the house at 6 (almost a two hour drive). If I wanted to faun, I had to get up at 3.30 for preps and that was a little too early for me
You did cosplay right, a couple different costumes? I looked out for you but unfortunately didn't see you, which is probably not a surprise because there were so darn many people. Was a great day again for me nonetheless anyway, hope you did have fun too, but you probably did

Yeah about 40.000 thousand people, way too crazy! And like you say, too hot too. Saturday I was the whole day backstage, only been able to walk around the con for 30mins, because I participated with the cosplay competition. Never again. I wore my Lady Deathwing that day. On Sunday I wore my Faun but I was so happy when I could remove the hooves, my feet haven been swollen for two days xD

Ok thanks for the advice! I'm still not sure, on one hand I really wanna cosplay, on the other hand I'm afraid having to look out for not falling on my face/not getting make-up everywhere/not smashing people in the face with my bow will lead to me being to distracted from the event itself/statues. Hard decision. Saw Β you were even gonna change costume at saturday too, respect for that!
