Yuna, Yunalesca from Final Fantasy X (C) Square EnixI was thinking about Seymour's plan (yeah, now I'm his fan, officially): Yuna's death because of the Final Summoning was part of it. Improbable because of Auron's intentions, Tidus' concern (let alone Jiscal's sphere) but still sad and fatal development.

If Tidus had not been there, I think there is a chance, admittedly small, that Yuna might have gone through with it.
Auron might have been intending to take Jecht's place.
A long shot, but it certainly occurred to me as well. (Although in my crazy corner of the world, I played with the idea that Yuna said "Yes" after Lulu volunteered to be her fayth.)

Auron was the first one to will to change everything. I'm not sure if he had a plan during Yuna's pilgramage, but I doubt he'd let her sacrifice herself no matter what.

Um... I'd say I am *against* his hair. 'Cause really, what, there is no other reason to be fascinated?! I love his backstory (and his eyelashes ^///^), but his hair and clothes are... strange to my taste. Nomura's stile becomes more and more weird.

Well, I know some people who hate Tidus as well (I'm one of them), so it's not that fatal.
Haven't played FF7. But Squall doesn't look like Cload though he's an "emo" tipe as well. And Zidane and Tidus are blonds but carry an opposite tipe of personality. Yes, there are some resembling characters like Yuffi-Selphie-Rikku but that's not the problem of the main hero, in my opinion.

Yes, I can totally agree, I'm one of the girls that , after playing the game so many time's I've practically memorised the script, I then am sarcastic at every turn ^^
