Description
My entry for a contest. Don't know why I decided to use water colours when I barely know how to use them but I tried my best, hopefully it doesn't look too bad.
But I had loads of fun doing this, I love tigers and I now like rats too hehe. If you haven't seen MoonsongWolf's comic featuring these two then I recommend having a look, it is a very unique comic and the characters are so cute and the art is beautifully done. ^_^ Here's a link to it: [link]

Looked at a couple of different references for the rat, my first time ever drawing one hehe was quite fun!

This looks fantastic!
I love how you've captured their personalities so perfectly. The self-assured, laid back tiger and the always inquisitive rat. And Linan's protective paw around Jeckle is a lovely touch. For your first time drawing rats, Jeckle looks great, too! I know how difficult they can be to draw... they have some of the strangest anatomy.
The background is very well done, too, especially the water beneath the pipe. Did you use watercolours and markers?

I just used watercolours and a black pen for the outlines. ^_^

Hm, I don't remember much. It was something about a mouse who took a thorn out of a lion's paw and from that day they were best friends or some such fairy tale drabble~ All I really remember was that it was quite adorable ^^
