Description This Month's MGC (Monthly Gargoyles Contest) theme is "On Broadway" now, while ~Nebulan did a cool pic of "Lion King: On Broadway" characters as gargoyles: [link] she suggested I pull a pun and do it more litterally.

I mean, come on, one of the main characters' name is Broadway!

Here, Juanita is trying to decide if she should wake the boys (looking to cute) so she could have a playmate or two. (Mom and big sis and all the uncles are out I suppose.)

Gargoyles, Broadway (c) Disney
Juanita, Horatio (c) RogueDragon and Nebulan, based on Disney's characters Broadway and Angela.

Aww... the kids are so cute! If Broadway and Angela need a babysitter I'm so there! LOL! Though I might take them home with me! You did so well. The boy looks like he's about to sneak attack his dad. My nephew does that to my sister all the time. She'll be sleeping and he'll just jump on her. LOL!

I like the idea of their daughter having head spikes, and her bro getting the hair. It's a really cool combination!
And damnit, it's just cute to have a kid sleeping on Broadways tummy. Good job ^^!

I'm glad you like. I was very proud of how the kids turned out.

Yeah, when Nebulan and I were creating them for a story of hers, I wanted them to be more of a mix than Angela apears to be. People often make it seem that gargoyle children have the colors of one parent and the characteristics of the other... making siblings appear to have absolutly no relation. But if you compare Angela and Demona in "sanctuary" were you see Demona's horns, you can tell that Angela's horn are from neither parent and must have skipped a generation.

Although Juanita and Horatio don't look that similar, they both did get their noses from their dad's side of the family. They have an older sister named Christina who kinda links them together. We have fun trying to make Horatio as adorable as possible, though as an adult, he has a lot of his grandfather's appearance, and a tinge of red in his hair from grandma.

I guess I had one goal of making a girl with a lot of Broadway's characteristics still look femine and pretty. We've made some nice picture maniputaions of her, but posting them online would be infringment.
if you're interested, here's some of Nebulan's (my sister, btw) work with the kids :

Did'ja know that Greg confirmed that Hudson and Broadway are related? (Father to son I think...)
Yeah, I was looking through your sisters stuff, and I gotta admit, y'all made them pretty damn cute!
It's really cool to know the back story behind them, how they got what they have. I wish the series would of continued and we could've seen their kids >_< Grrrr, damn you Disney!

Hahahah, it would be so appropriate for Broadway to be the kind of dad who falls asleep while watching the kids!
