Heh, sorry to hear about that.
It's great when you have a click with your family, but when your interests and way of thinking are on a diffrent level, it's a nightmare.

Beats me.
Grandma always translates faces of agony as "that person wants something to drink."
So obsessed in their social games that just the concept of not enjoying it is alien to their brains.

Well not a party full of people that I had to relate to them is my blood and marriages and nothing elses
I want to go to a party where I have common interests with other people

Really? I thought you were native English speaker... Strange. You always seem to talk so fluently, correct and you are giving to your speech the same emotions as if it was your first language...
Well, probably I wouldn't recognize a foreigner even if he punched me in the face so hard that I would land in his country.

Well, we dutch have a history of being able to learn otehr langauges a lot. Being big on trading back in teh day.
And in my youth, almost no tv shows or movies were ever dubbed in dutch so English is almost my second mother language.
But yeah, if I have to talk a lot of long sentences with no script in front of me, I won't sound very fluent English.

Nice! And once again, you're right. The only thing I ever get to do at social things is dance. And not often.

Worked from 2pm until 1am. Still, it wasn't so bad. It was nice to see my Irish family (drunk, of course!).
I've actually got to go clean up the mess for the rest of the day in about 20 minutes! God... Ah well. It's nice to see my aunt has survived up to 50! I'm just thinking how I'm gonna be able to top it off for my mum's 50th!

yes, the hunt little children every 2 months, on dark spooky nights, they kidnapp them and they'll be stuck in dark, smoky and with flowers decorated rooms listening to the moaning and mumbling of the ghostly goons.
