DOODLE??!! Your lighting is spot-on. Love the colors. Your brush strokes worked very well for this piece, it's like it's own style apart from your regular work I see off to the right here (checking those out in a bit). You saved the details for the face, naturally, and therefore my eyes are drawn there first. You've clearly got a great sense of composition and it shows well in your sketch work. New fan!

Now I feel bad for calling it doodle..... I mean, it's technically a doodle since it's done without sketch and without clear concept in my head, I'm not very satisfied with the neck proportion too, the shading is not quite right in some places and it's done in around 1-2 hours which is quite fast for a slow painter like me but I had fun drawing it anyway...hence i call it a doodle

The most important thing is you had fun and that’s a lot of what it’s all about! I totally understand your self critiques there and thank you for mentioning them. From my audience perspective I wouldn’t have thought of that, but on my artist side I notice so many flaws in my own work right away that seems to not be immediately clear to people I share it with.
It’s a great thing to be able to recognize flaws in our work (even the doodles!) and improve on them in the next piece. Even if we were asking for critiques, they might have not noticed those small details we did!

Thank you! it's just technically a doodle since it's done faster than my usual drawing and painted without sketch or clear concept in my head so I call it a doodle
