I usually make a very fast sketch to make a base on what's in my mind, then blot it with big brushes to plot the light and shadows. then keep doing it with smaller brushes to create details. I'm not really into making clean and perfect linearts because it's really exhausting to me haha, that's why my drawing is somewhat messy.. still gotta work to make it better though ^^
