We just read Hamlet in English class and I pictured Ophelia EXACTLY like this...the madness still reminiscent on her dying face. VERY nice work dude.

Woah, this is very amazing and dramatic! Very different form most of the Ophelia pieces you see--beautiful flowers, water, floating hair, lily pads.
This is so much more... intense! It really brings out the more "maddening" aspect.... more dark and sinister...

My intention was to mix a bit more of the grim feeling of madness and death in a puddle into the classic theme of Ophelia.

I really like your technique and personal style of drawing. I wish I was that good, but unfortunately drawing isn't my strong side at all. >< As it sats mixed media, though, I want to ask you exatcly how you did this? It seems a lot like a drawing to me but what other elements did you use?

I use basically pencil, ink and pigmentliners on paper. Sometimes some watercolour or acrylic. And after scanning I tweak in Photoshop.
So 'mixed media'.
