This is a stunning image. The colorful swirls and added light are just breathtaking. My only issue with this image is the background. It's not as crisp as the rest of the image. This is fine towards the back of the image where focus would be normally lost but towards the front it should be as clear as the model. Other than that, breathtaking.

thanks! the cartoon look was just some vectors I made in illustrator and imported to photoshop, then I scribbled on them with some gritty brushes to make it look more like pastels, and then dodge/burn for depth.

pen tool in photoshop is a good second choice, or you could get a free download of illustrator (only for 30 days, boo) on adobe's website.
