Although I agree I also have to say that as a male you'll never know just how painful and miserable periods/PMS can actually be. In other words I can't really take this stamp seriously since it was made by a man.

It mostly depends on the person. I wouldn't skip school because of it, though, or any of my classes.Β

Some people are not so bad when it comes to their period, some are, it just depends.

I don't know much of a difference when I'm not on my period, I'm just in a bad mood, I don't notice it but a lot of people do. I try my best to stay calm when I'm typing though.

you know, some girls really can't do pe while on their periods (unless they want to embarrass theirselves)
because they loose more blood than usual
like me
and usually end up with problems like that and actual health problems like anemia (loss of steel)

so it ain't actually an excuse you make up
(well, you CAN fake it but it seems kinda pointless)

I mean, I'm emotionally probably not the most stable person out there anyway, but that time of the month barely changes me.

I absolutely hate when I'm upset or mad or emotional and my mom asks if I'm on my
period. NO. MY PERIOD NEVER EFFECTS MY MOOD, MOM. IT JUST MAKES MY EMOTIONS
STRONGER.
At least my cramps aren't as bad as they were when it started- aka, I don't completely
wanna rip out my uterus c:
But yeah, I have a friend who wanted her period and then skipped school because she
was on it.

women can go through unbearable pain during their periods. ex. cramping, bloating, headaches. when one is in pain, one is generally not im the best of moods.
a woman's period affects their hormones. that's not something that can control. I'm sure if we could, we would.
now, unless you yourself have experienced one, I suggest you stop acting like you know what you're talking about.

If a woman's period is causing her enough pain, or her hormones are so out of wack that she starts lashing out/attacking people for even the slightest bit of irritation then she should either take something for it or go see a fucking doctor. When I'm on my period I experience all three at the same time, plus nausea and fatigue, and I never lash out at people. Being cramped and moody is not an excuse to insult/attack people. EVER.

dontblinkphotography In reply to SiogaAgusArrachtaigh [2013-02-15 04:37:44 +0000 UTC]

I understand where you're comming from, however, the thing I'm upset about is that so many people act like the woman instigates the arguments. When you are on your period and when you are on edge, all it takes is one asshole who says the wrong thing. And some people don't want to take mediacations or unable to due to health issues. I'm not saying the majority is, but that there are some.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SiogaAgusArrachtaigh In reply to dontblinkphotography [2013-02-15 04:44:28 +0000 UTC]

That's true, though I don't think that's what they're talking about. There's a lot of girls out there who start shit for absolutely no reason and then try to get out of trouble by blaming it on their period. Yeesh, there's a story of one woman who tried to use her period as an excuse for KILLING someone.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dontblinkphotography In reply to SiogaAgusArrachtaigh [2013-02-15 19:33:46 +0000 UTC]

That's a reasonable opinion, but I also think we can't just act like a woman's period is nbd. And wow. Just wow, for that woman. Seriously crazy.

SiogaAgusArrachtaigh In reply to dontblinkphotography [2013-02-15 20:47:59 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I agree, again, I get hit with all the symptoms of my period at once, so I know how moody it makes someone. XD I just don't think it should be used as a get out of jail free pass.
yeah, that woman fails at life.
