Description Stupid Jack Horner, thinking that Spinosaurus was a 50-foot long super-predator while the Tyrannosaurus was a scavenger.

"The only way the T-Rex could have bitten this bone here is if the animal was torn to peices. Therefore, another animal must have killed it."

Honestly, I think Jack only said that to stir the pot and spark a debate. Tyrannosaurus was probably exactly like the predators of today- an opportunist. They could hunt prey if it was available, but if there was a carcass around, all the better. If they did decide to hunt, they would have probably been ambush predators, suprising their prey by bursting through the trees after it.
Tyrannosaurus was probably both hunter and scavanger, and I don't think any predator, alive or extinct, is exclusively one or the other.

WAH! I just typed up a huge reply to this, and I accidentally hit the "back" button on my mouse (too many buttons on that thing). Now it's gone. Oh well. I'll type it later.

(This is a shortened version):

What really ticked me off about him was when he brought up a herbivore skeleton with some T-Rex tooth marks on a bone that could only be reached if the animal were torn in half. He then claimed that this proved that some other predator must have killed the animal, and that the T-Rex was just scavenging. Plus, I blame him for the uber-spinosaur in JP3.

Besides, it was his THEORY that the Tyrannosaurus was a scavanger, he didn't say it was true. >>; Jesus.

He wouldn't put it forth if he did not believe it could be true. Besides, if nobody complained about anything, we'd all have supressed anger that would form second evil personalities that would take us over, transforming us into coin-obsessed supervillains played by Tommy Lee Jones.
