was cleaning up the garden part of the day and i found this lil fella and idly wondered if i could zoom in enough to get a good picture - for the record he was about 3mm across the shell so yeah very tiny 3 of 3All images and literature/written work in =rockgem's gallery are © Gemma Hart. lol i don't have a snail fetish lol! i just think tehy are interstign lil creatures - i woudl take photo's of otehr bugs and creepy crawlies as when and if i ever found em - or when i di dspot em they didnlt scoot before i found my camera lol kinda lieka group of harvestman spiders i spied earlier, notto metnion ithink mom was getting pissy with me chasing bugs and not doing the gardening lol

umm no idea i'm not much of a photographer i just used my digital camera a 'nikon coolpix' to take the shot its got a settign for close up but thats all i really used settign wize - i zoomed a lil bit in on it i did try to zoom more but lost a lot of the sharp focus lol! still gettign to grips with the camera lol its relatively new one so i not tested out most of what it can do yet

i think most o f my photography is trial and error i try things out and decide if it loosk good - usually i take 4 or 5 shots of thesame image then marrow it down to the better ones i think i had 10 of this to start with lol - a lot of itis common sense in truth i did a bit of basic photography and darkroom work when i was at college a few years back. but other htna that i jsut work with a digital camera

lol thats the best way to do it that way you have more images and you can pick the ones that work best for you instead of thinking i only have one or two but they are blurry or something.

yeah its liekwhen i was at school i hated workign knowign the teather was watching me at times - i don;t do well under scrutiny and observation real or imagined besides mom caught me takign photo's afew tiem sbefore now nad looedk at me liek i had gone mad when i was chasing snails round the yard or whatever lol
