whaaaat i come back after a boyhood away, and you've improved so much wtf my man! this is soooo lovely, what a great subdued palette, an excellent feeling of melancholy mood. two most excellent thumbs up, what a great piece!

Thank you so much, it was a relaxing and powerful piece for me to paint, taught me a lot about just sticking to it even if the fingers look like hot dogs for more than half the painting.

Fucking love love love how he's sleeping in the snow. Did you use a reference for the flower? Bc it seems less realistic than what's around it, it stands out a lot. Idk if that's what u we're going for tho!! Awesome job

I did use a reference. Β It's a pink/magenta hellebore flower. Β Problem is that flora is a real weakness of mine. If it's not a tree, moss or a grass, I don't really have any experience in painting it. Β I will go back to this at some point and retry them once I've painted some more flowers.

This whole tome I thought it was a dude asleep in bed or something. Now as new details emerge, it seems to be a bit more grim.
Then again, his complexion and evidence of blood flowing beneath nose, lips, and fingertips indicates he is in fact notΒ dead, but probably in some sort of suspended state.

Either way, I like the hair.
