I feel that the black looked better because it contrasted more with her skin tone and the shading as well as the purple. It is definately a great picture though

Ah, this is an option that should be given to the game player...giving them several different hair colors to choose from, which would be reflected in the hair magic the heroine would use!

you might have been able to blend the lower of this with the upper of the blue, kind of a gradient affected by the groundwork, either way it's nice art.
