Description

I couldn't just let the live action release of Disney's The Lion King come without any fanfare from myself, so I whipped up this painting in celebration of it. To be honest, there's a lot I don't like about the way this piece came out, but I'm proud of myself for pushing through with it regardless and also pushing the boundaries of what I'm used to doing. Still having a hard time adjusting to Photoshop, but I'm slowly familiarizing myself with brushes and effects.

The Lion King is my favorite movie, and it means a lot to me. It will always be my favorite movie, and regardless of how the live action version is perceived, I'm still incredibly excited to watch it (on my birthday!) and am going to enjoy it no matter how it squares up to the original.
