Description By Hera!  It's Wonder Woman!!  For this iteration, she is the daughter of Zeus and Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons, the older sister of Donna Troy, AKA Troia, as well as Cassie Sandsmark, AKA Wonder Girl.  She is also one of the founding members of the Justice League of America, and is an on-and-off love interest of Batman.

Wonder Woman's costume has borrowed a lot from her pre-New 52 appearance, but also a lot from Greco-Roman armors, such as the laurel wreath engraving on her tiara, and the pteruges, or feathers on her girdle.  She also carries a sword as well as her famed Lasso of Truth, a reminder of the Amazons' nomadic past on the steppes of Scythia and the plains of Central Asia.

That’s great, though this take on Diana is in love with Steve Trevor.

No, he’s not dead. In fact, he’s alive and well, and quite young too. He and Diana are around the similar age range.

Yep. I could tell. I was going for the iteration in the DC Animated movies, and from Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.

Maybe, but Lois is the daughter of a general, she knows how to take care of herself in a fight as well. I grew up with the Bruce Timm version of Lois, so that version has stuck with me for ages. Plus, she also has some really comedic ways of irritating her captors as a way of buying time until Clark gets there.

Indeed we can. Though, I am a fan of what the New 52 did by making her a daughter of Zeus, as it seemed to follow the lineage of traditional Greek demigods.

This one may be older, but you did a very good drawing here Wonder Woman herself is interesting to me. She may have been one of the first female superheroes in any comic series, but she still is important today. It is great seeing you draw her in this more anime style!

I like the live action movie she got too, one of the better superhero movies from DC. I feel they could've done a more threatening design for Ares XD but Diana in that movie is very enjoyable and the supporting cast of characters worked well in that movie.

I like how you drew her hands here in different positions, one holding the lasso while the other is on her hip. Nice way to draw the rope too!

I’m glad to hear that! I was going for a few Greco-Roman style influences for Wonder Woman and the Amazons. So I researched Amazon/Scythian society based on the Greek and Roman accounts, both historical and mythological.

That movie was so awesome!! I definitely agree that they could’ve done better with Ares. Though I sort of did one myself, with a menacing armor based off the one Kratos wore in God of War II, albeit with a wolf theme to it. (The Romans believed wolves to be Mars’ sacred animal, given that a She Wolf suckled Romulus and Remus. And since Mars is the Romanized version of Ares, I went with that.). I loved that it was set in WWI, which actually makes sense, given that Diana was canonically born in 1882.

Thanks! I was originally going to draw her wielding her sword, but that didn’t work out. So I figured this was the next best thing. I may just even write a journal describing the Amazons of Themyscira down to their history, culture and society.

It is very nice you looked into different areas and how you drew her looks very good!

I am glad you liked that movie too, and you are welcome! Do the things you want to do.

Well they're both pretty much equals. In my headcanon, Diana, Donna and Cassie are all daughters of Zeus. So they're biological sisters, more or less.

Actually, it’s common in Greek Mythology. Zeus slept around with other women because he knew that their children would become half human and half god: demigods, and many of them would become great heroes, such as Hercules and Perseus.

Thanks for the support!  I could do a lot more drawings if you'd like.  Besides, there's more where that came from.
