ART 1050: Self-Portrait

I love this piece. It was our "Self-Portrait", and one of our first real projects in this class. This artwork means ALOT to me, since it is a true self portrait. I can explain, and show personal meaning to everything in this artwork. I am a huge fan of collage, so I definitly used the opportunity to do so here. First off, all of the text within the work is from a song that means ALOT to me. And I love the lyrics beyond any other song. Only one person understands this. You know who yo are. This work is highly subjective in nature and in theme. I am not going to explain anything else, since I would write forever.

USED: Xexox Trasfer, Stencil, Drawn images, Stamps, Permeant Markers, and Prismacolors.

I believe that an atrist should show any and maybe all artwork, just in order to encompass a larger aspect on what and how the artist composses himself/herself in their artwork.
