The 90s were the golden age of Marvel, during that time their shows actually included something like moral and educational value. That was before they discovered that they could easily increase sales by spouting fanservice after mindless fanservice for 12-year-old Deadpool fanboys.

Yeah I've been drawing this way for the last fiver years, helps publishers know what I'm doing form the start, and helps me in this case, to know what the final will look like and whether I need to draw certain things or just paint the min. I don't like drawing stuff and just hoping I'll figure out the colors when i get to it lol

I dunno I flatten it all before redrawing over the the ruffy. I don't stress over layers, so long as its efficient. The final file is always one layer lol don't stress over that stuff, just make good art.

I really like the way you do these without line-art, it's unique. So you typically draw all the color base shapes of your characters before adding line-art? Or did you just take-away that outlines layer?

Thx! All I do is blop in a black silhouette to get the basic figure shape, then lock transparency and put in characters basic color details and erase or add a bit to tighen up the idea. When the ruffy is complete I draw right over the color shapes and add lines and detail based on that . Saves alot of time for me lol Plus I can see a "blurry" version of the final vs hoping it will all come together once is painted up. I see things in color/shape more than outlines I guess.
