I know... and you still see them covered in mud, wearing leather bracers and wielding doubled axes. Hopefully one day we'll get a decent movie representing the Nordic peoples properly

Lol, i think the series ''Vikings'' is a proper illustration of Nordic people, and imo Travis Fimmel does a great job, i'm usually not in to main characters, but Ragnar is my favorite

Vikings, isn't bad... an improvement of what there has been in the past. The arms and armours are really all over the place. The anglo-saxon cavalry have burgonets for some reason, which are from the 16th and 17th centuries. I saw a falcata used as a sacrifice weapon as well. The clothing isn't bad, just very dull, and the acting is good. I thinkΒ Travis Fimmel has done an excellent job.Β They really need to look at getting properly made arms and armour for both Anglo-Saxons, Nordic peoples and Franks.

Yeah, i've heard many complaints about the inaccuracy of Saxon armours, besides they made Saxons look like pussies in favour of Vikings, i don't like it.
But in general the series is great, compared to other craps running on TV
