Ok so the story of Scrunchy goes a little something like this:
Once upon a time in a land far far away---
Okay actually It's not a fairy tale. It's far from it.
Letterman Jacket and Bobby Pin, two teenagers with raging hormones.
At age 14 HAVE SEX AND BOBBY PIN BECOMES PREGNANT BECAUSE WHO NEEDS SEX ED???
So, basically what ends up happening is, Letterman does EVERYTHING in his power to hide the fact HE IS A DAD NOW from his family, and especially from Labcoat (Because, he is, in fact, 15 now, and a total dumbass. Seriously. This is the kid who complains about shit when his parents spoil him to hell and back and does next to nothing to show any gratitude ).
Bobby Pin struggles to raise this kid and her parents end up taking over the roll as parent when Bobby begins to miss school. So, for a while, Scrunchy was raised for a while under the impression that Bobby Pin was just her older sister.
This whole thing is brushed off for a while. Bobby Pin and Letterman split up during their early highschool years and just over all try to forget what happened between them.
It wasn't until Bobby Pin started using drugs that she started to see Letterman Jacket again ( BECAUSE GUESS WHO GOT INTO SOME NASTY SHIT? YOU GUESSED RIGHT, ITS THE DOUCHEBAG DAD ) .
So Bobby Pin starts to use and abuse these drugs. Beyond belief. She drops out of High School in the middle of her Senior year, along with Letterman, and the two take scrunchy and try to find a place to stay. Unluckily for Scrunchy, nobody had any time to object to her being taken out of her grandparents care seeing as how Bobby Pin and Letterman left with her in the middle of the night.
So now, Scrunchy grew up being Home Schooled by Bobby Pin (to the best of her abilities, at least).
They went from home to home, shelter to shelter, trying to slip under the radar.
Scrunchy learned to steal to make up for the things they couldn't afford and so on and so forth.

then one fateful day, Scrunchy would lose her life at the age of 15 to the hands of a reckless driver in a sports car. Hit and Run.

Bobby Pin lost it. She started drowning her sorrow with alcohol and drugs, almost killing herself in the process. After waking up in a hospital bed with Letterman nowhere to be found, Bobby pin decided that this would be her fresh start. ((This is where the writer acts like she wouldn't be arrested for possession of anything or whatnot.. just.. act like this makes sense ok these are fictional characters in a universe that's really jank so)) Bobby Pin put herself into a rehab program (unaware that her child had died and come back as a fallen angel briefly after her death. Unfortunately, Scrunchy didn't actually die in Daten, so Bobby Pin isn't in the general area to learn that her daughter has come back from the grave.)

Meanwhile, Letterman Sells drugs. Great right?
Yeah no
(( Quick fact here, Scrunchy is Pastel's cousin. Also, double quick fact; Pastel is also Scrunchy's Boss. ))
Pastel sees Letterman some day (because lbr Pastel does shady shit) and decides HE GUNNA GO TO JAIL (and while she's at it, may as well pin some of the things SHES DONE against him to keep him locked up).

And this is why she NEVER TALKS ABOUT HER LIFE BEFORE SHE BECAME AN ANGEL.
