the idea i had was different....i still may do the one i had in mind....i dont know yet.....

i love using booleans for some reason i get nice crazy things i like......sometimes maya can compute my ideas though and it gets all gay...

It's free for one, although that doesn't guarantee goodness I know. If you spend a little time getting used to the interface it's actually pretty powerful and can do most of the basic functions that any of the high-flyers do, nice renderer too (and there's yafray for GI etc)
