I always LOVED Victor, and I eventually came up with the nickname "Porcupine-hair" for him after a while of seeing him in-game. Didn't anyone else notice that his hair kinda looked like a porcupine? No? Just me? Oh well. I still love this. X3

The 1st thing I noticed about him is that he's traveling with a small floating girl who craves death and destruction, and the only reason she doesn't kill everybody and everything is because Victor is keeping her alive.

Argh, I wrote an entire paragraph about Victor and his associates before I realized it was spoileriffic. Still, suffice to say I love Victor and most of the bosses because when you get to know more about them, they are quite affable. A couple of exceptions include Profiteur, DeRosa, and Yada, and there is a good reason for that... But Victor is my favorite. Aside from his great visual design, his character development as one of the few bosses we see regularly (albeit in cutscenes that technically the protagonists would have no idea were going on) and along with Victoria being the only boss you fight multiple times (kind of) and to top it off, his unique relationship with Victoria...
On another note altogether, does anyone else find it odd that his name is so similar to hers?

What I always wondered about was the Fox motif they both shared. Victor's hair looks like a bunch of fox tails (a la the kitsune), while Victoria has a fox tail on her costume.

Haha, I meant in-game. Their naming sure is a coincidence considering they're unrelated. Interesting theory regarding their naming though.
As for the fox motif, I'm ashamed to say I completely missed both of those while playing (either that or I forgot, it's been a while since I played it). I did a little research, and found that in Japan, the fox symbolizes longevity and protection from evil. This would make sense Victoria is only alive through experiments that increased her lifespan, and Victor is dedicated to protecting Victoria.

That's the concept of the game. A lot of the people you face in the army are corrupt and horrible, but there are those few who were good. It masks the truth of it very well.
