Description SO Im working on it, every evenning this past week I've been working on this Helmet all made of Stuff I have at my house. SO And Im going to put on the Gold Ductape and more on the sidings in a bit

And heres kinda a Picture By Picture Thing I did
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So the First Picture: I took the Inside part of a Bike Helmet out and cut into it, making the shape for the Brow line and the piece that sticks out kinda
~
2nd
I started forming it with Duct tape some of the Details
~
3rd: SO I took some paperboard thin Cardboard and made the Sidings and mesuared them so They'd be just below my cheek bones, then for the Antlers I took Wire and covered it in Tin foil
~
4Th:
Same thing, Tin foil on wire
~
5Th:
I Attached the Antlers into the helmet by basically smooshing them into the already holes in the helmet
~
6th:
And now I took Bubble wrap to form a bit on the side just for shapping and Covered it all in Ducttape.
AND NOW I GOTTA COVER IT IN GOLD DUCT TAPE (Like I said its all home made~)
So B-T-dubs the reason why the picture is taken in the Dark is because I really shouldn't be up at that hour so I didnt wanna get in trouble, an dactually my Mom does not know about this Project and im just waiting for my Dad to ask where all his Ductape is...
And also besides Lack of sleep I shouldnt be working on this at night because I'm in Alaska and the sun sets at 11pm and rises at 3:30am and I can only fall asleep with it all dark, SOOOO~ Im taking away precious hours of DARK to make this, But its worth it~
HEY HEY HEY FINISHED: [link]
Awesome, the inside of a bike helmet idea is great! I've been trying to work out how to make a loki helmet recently - seems you've done a great job here
Thank You very Much and I do get compliments on it almost everyday, But yeah if you feel like working on it I totally say go for it! It was frustrating at times but thats when you just take a breka nd work on it some more the next day~ (Its also especially good todo if you dont have alot of cosplay cash under your belt)
You're welcome Totally deserves all the compliments it gets
I know the feeling - I've done a few cosplays but Loki is by far the most complex costume I've ever tried to make.
Yay, doctor Matt Smith!
YES.
Loki's costume (especially the main body and the detail on the trousers are ridiculously detailed - not hard to do, but takes forever.... I have so much respect for the costume department at marvel. Such an awesome job!
What a great idea to use the inside of a bike helmet for a base! That will make it sturdy and comfortable at the same time.
