Teen parents aren't sluts, they're just stupid, and while I'm at it, if you had a kid at 18+ you are not a teen parent! You are legally an adult. Having sex doesn't make you a slut, but remember, penis-vaginal makes pregnancy happen, so if your going to have sex, use birth control please. And yes I'm talking about teen boys / teen dads too, they're just as stupid as the girl was / is.
And teens, raising a kid isn't like raising a puppy on the Nintendogs games, infants, toddlers and kids are a lot of work. And sorry, but teens aren't ready to be having kids, they just need to stay in school, and have fun with their limited time of not being an adult. Why throw your life away at such a young age? Just because you're mature enough to have sex, doesn't mean your mature enough to have kids or raise them.
And yes, been a teen and having sex without protection is stupid, and it's also stupid to not have an abortion, I don't care what those stupid pro-lifers say, they can go fuck themselves, if they care so much why don't they tell women that they'll raise the kid if she's wants an abortion? What's worse, being ridiculed by pro-lifers but still being able to finish school, maybe go to collage, get a job, and when you're ready, have the kids your ready to have and want or getting ass-pats by pro-lifers, and throwing your life and future out the window?

Hi! I'm not here to argue, but I am here to let you know religious beliefs could actually be a reason why they couldn't. Even if you find it lacking, religion can be a major influence for maybe people.
Another thing to note is that they could be in places where abortion isn't always available, if at all. Or where it costs money and their family is unable to afford.

Birth control can fail. Even if you're using condoms correctly and oral contraceptives (which, by the way, a friend of mine was using and had her reproductive system damaged as a result) there's still that one chance in a million. Having an abortion isn't as easy as it may sound; when I was afraid that I might be pregnant, I found out that in my entire province there were only four abortion clinics and none of them were at all close to me. Plus, my family is struggling financially and we'd have a hard time coming up with the money for it, not to mention how my abstinence-only mother would look at me after it was over.
Still, you are definitely right that having and raising a kid isn't easy. It's not a commitment of eighteen years of food, shelter and clothing, it's a permanent and dramatic change in your life. I'd rather anyone who is not wanting kids at this point to simply get sterilized and choose adoption if they do change their minds. I see little point in bringing new life into the world when there are already far too many lives in need of love and care.

My good friend at school is 15 and has a two-month old daughter. She isn't stupid. Her life is just very disorganized right now because she's in a situation where she is being raped and abused at home (yes, I have called the police and they are investigating her case), and chances are that really fucked up her concepts of sex from a very young age. Not all ten moms are stupid Riza. Some of them have babies because non one else will love them except the baby and other times they do use birth control but it fails. I remember when Β was 18 a boy was pressuring me ,to have sex with him and all he ever talked to me about was sex and he saw me as a living blow up doll When I didn't have sex with him he got mad and made me feel like shit because I didn't let him have his way with me. See teen moms aren't stupid a lot of the times they just have a hard time saying no. They best thing for a teen mom is to learn how to say "No" and to get a job if she gives birth to the baby. Back before the industrial revolution, it wasn't uncommon for girls to get married and start having children as young as fourteen or fifteen. As soon as she started menstruating, she was automatically considered a woman. BUT, back then people had a bit more common sense and a girl who got married and had children probably knew what she was in for.

One act of stupidity does not make a person stupid. What matters is what happens after the act. Stupidity is determined by one's ability to learn from their mistakes and to take action to deal with the consequences of their mistake. So long as they put lots of though into the whole abortion/keeping the child thing then no they are not stupid.
Personally I support abortion 100% so long as the mother gave lots of thought to it, AND does it before week 20. That's about it. It takes only one act of sexual intercourse to make a baby. Its either a stroke of luck or a stroke of misfortune. Even so some of these teens are forced to keep the child by overbearing families that either live in an area that you either can't get abortions or need parental permission, or are scared to get one out of fear of being rejected by those closest to them. Either way it should be up to the teen mother to determine, given her current situation, if she should keep or get rid of the child. And if its a teen I pray to god they get an

I mean peer pressure, family, and that sort of stuff could have pressured the teen into keeping the baby out of fear of shunning and asking them to give it up for adoption is indeed asking the teen for alot.
I don't really think its the teens decision that's the problem. Society pressures teens so if they do get an abortion they feel horrible about it. They are sometimes even not allowed by their families to get that abortion. Most people who regret an abortions or even chicken out do it because society implies abortion to be a crime against humanity.
Its such a shame how society should be and how it is are two different things.

Perhaps she made stupid decision to become a teen parent in the first place, but to me its not the stupid decisions you make that makes you stupid its your ability to take responsibility.
So the teen parent isnt' stupid if she decides to make the decision within X amount of time (no procrastinating) and gets what needs to be done done no matter what her decision is. I wont say choosing to keep or get rid of the baby is irresponsible its procrastinating on the decision that's irresponsible.
