Looks almost like my Bunsy (r.i.p.) but she was a more saturated blue.

we have also darker ones and some are ven turquoise , others are much paler , almost white with just a little bluish touch . We have over 50 and each one looks different

wow. at the most we had I think 12 and 3 generations. our most stand-out colors was a pure white and an almost pure lemon yellow, plus Bunsy. The rest were either all green or green with yellow heads.

I learned that they can almost have any colour combination . We even have a blue one with a yellow head .

I have seen those at the pet store. The very light ones are nice.
Parakeets can also develop some fun personalities. The lemon yellow guy would brace himself against the cage wall and stare at us until we sat down at the table. Only then could he eat.

hahahaha , thatΒ΄s so funny !
I had one when I was a school girl and it flew free in my room and played on my desk , while I was doing my homework . And when it got bored , it would chew up my pencils and my books - the teacher in school got mad at me , because she asked me why my books looked like that and I told her the truth ... but she thought I was taking her for a ride ... : ))

Heh, "The parakeet ate my homework". Our birds didn't really get an attachment for us. When we let them fly in the house they would sit on the highest points and stare at us. Every time we tried to get them down the males would end up flying into the bathroom and land in the tub. Guaranteed end spot.
