Early on, her father moved away to home in Taiwan, where both her mother and father's ancestors had lived and died in a small square radius. Since that day, she asked for a sewing machine for her birthday everyday. She was met with pushback from her mother due to her believing Irene's love of fashion would only be a waste of time. Due to this, Irene was told to save up her own money in order to splurge on such useless things. It hurt Irene's spirit, but she didn't give up on her dream. Her first sewing machine was bought when she was 10, after she earned all the money for it through her weekly allowance, and then some for working hard at her academics. She created a youtube channel as well, wanting to show others her dream, and to help those with a similar one know that it is possible.
    But, not everything was so ideal. A random man called on the telephone on a Sunday evening, sounding frantic and rushed, speaking in Chinese. Irene gave the phone to her mother, seeing the tears falling down her cheeks as she responded, just as rushed and frantic sounding. But, Irene couldn't hear him, just the vibrations. She knew a change was coming. That night, her mother told her to pack all her things, and said they were going home, to Taiwan.
    The story was explained on the 12-hour flight. Her father had fallen sick, and was near death. They were needed back at home, as they were the only things he would ask for. This was strange for Irene, as she always had the impression her father despised her. She felt a small sprout of forgiveness pop out of the ground, choosing to ignore the past, believing that change was okay, and it would be fine, as long as the family was together.

It was her goal to make her father proud, as she started in middle school.
    She progressed through middle school with high marks, while reviving her channel, and making fashion. She sold her designs online, putting it towards assisting with her deceased father's hefty hospital bill. Middle school was a time of realization and healing for Irene, and she did so gradually. She made friends, and slowly started to extend her hands to others. She became active in clubs, and even started a Twitter to communicate with her middle school friends. She was still hurt by the moments in the past, but the past is behind her now. She has decided to put her best foot forward, looking forward to the future, as well as those soon to be around her, helping her heal, and blossom. But, she still had time to heal in high school, but this time with companions around her. A change from before, but change was good after all.

● Irene loves plastic eyeballs with a passion. She collects small dolls to use these eyeballs in. Sometimes she sews them new clothes and all her clothes are made by her.

● Irene has hats for days (berets, pageboy hats, etc.) and keeps them in a box under her bed. They're separated by color, texture, and type.

● Irene is a yandere, as she will hurt anyone who hurts her crush/S.O. and will be worried about them a lot.

● She bakes her father sweets and puts them on his grave every Thursday evening, along with a bouquet of marigolds.

● Her eyes are dark brick colored. She got them from her mother's side.
