Why do you hate torrents? Are they too slow on your ISP-throttled connection?

Yeah. Not only are they too slow, but you end up having to try and find all the different parts. The only time I've ever used torrents was to download 3DCG

I use a seedbox that costs me $15 a month and so far it's worth it. It's fast. I download the content to the seedbox and then I use FTP to download it from the seedbox. Movies only take me about 10 minutes to download to the seedbox and then to my computer(total time). If you care to check it out I have a referral link(if you sign up I get $5 credit towards my next month). Not intending to advertise just offering.

Proxies help but Comcast, Century Link, and plenty others are constantly monitoring for suspicious traffic and slowing it down if not cutting it off. If they throttled FTP though they'd have a ton of unhappy web developers for sure and have to take a step back.
