I love those magic-eye ones. those are parallel view, and there is definitely not as much depth in those, so you're less likely to strain your eyes.

Really? I don't have a PS3...but how can anyone like that book? First of all, I hate the author so much it makes me want to tear my hair out--I'm also frustrated because all this hate is directed at a dead Italian guy. Secondly, how is it enjoyable? People being burned alive in flaming coffins? Whores being burned alive in flaming diarrhea rivers? Pimps being burned alive in...hey, I'm sensing a pattern here. Maybe that's why it's called the Inferno.
I never read the Paridiso. How would you make a video game from it? Have your character try to acheive happiness levels?

Some people love old literature, but they are usually people who were exposed to it and it's ideas at a very young age.
My only joy comes from freeing people from the cruel fate that is the Inferno. There is also a lot of things about the game that just fascinated me, but I probably won't be replaying it any time soon

You don't need to make it a 3D object, though that would be cool too.
All you need to do is position it so that it pops out into the foreground in front of the rest of the scene.
