I'd recommend getting Cigars of the Pharaoh/ The Blue Lotus first, because the first two books are racist propaganda, the third is very silly, but those two are when the series really gets good.

mmmkayy. hahah

hahaha racist propaganda.
against what races?
and whats the third about?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RioLuisa In reply to b3rryb4tty [2012-01-24 03:01:29 +0000 UTC]

Erm, well, the first was Anti-Soviet propaganda (it was 1929), and the second took place in Congo...which was under Belgian colonialism.

Yeah ._.

The third takes place in America (which is VERY MUCH parodied), and has a little stereotypical Native Americans, but is kind of like an old cartoon (like the Looney Tunes). Seriously, it's ridiculous!
