Meh. Ill move this to scraps shortly.I dislike how this one turned out. I tried something different and it kinda backfired on me. If I wanted to do this more I'd have to practice it more, or figure something else out to do.
Plus I just couldnt figure out the composition like I had originally imagined.
Being sick sucks.....

where there was only one movie and admitedly I wasn't as thrilled about it as I hoped either(especially the actress playin lyra, idk she didn't really quite cut it for me) but I still wanted to see more. there were so many amazing stuff in the books, it could have turned out quite epic.
I felt so full the first time I finished the trilogy I had to lie to my bed for an hour still lost in that extraordinary world of Philip Pulman!!

lyra looks pretty badass here, all she needs is an explosion behind her, though that wouldn't make much sense

it's fine, not enough people see Lyra to be cool; I think she's a pretty savvy character, it's just a pity the movie failed, I get the strangest of looks when I say "team Lyra" when the inevitable Harry Potter/Twilight debate comes up

:/ Man, the movie did it absolutely no justice. Lyra is a REALLY tough little girl, and it shows a HECK of a lot more later in the series too. BAAHHHHH~

I like it Rin :3 Although my husband cringes at the title, because it's not the name in the books XD And the movie was just bad.. Pan looks good in this, and I never actually looked at the markings. That's amazing X3

I hope you get time, the books really are amazing, Starts slow, but blows your mind by the 3rd book. I know you'll like it if you read a lot of the same kind of books I do... which you do. You read a lot more than me >.> LOL I need to get to a library again so bad...

I did like the compass... that was about it. There was some other things I kinda liked but it still just feels blank. Oh well, was first time trying pencil lines with coloring digitally... I wanna play with it more til I feel more comfortable.

I think this turned out beautifully. I love the color choices and subtle use of green in the snow. I don't see anything wrong with your composition, but I suppose any artist would be overly critical of their own work. Don't work yourself too hard~

Im trying not to be too critical, but I feel there is a lot more I could have done to save it... but Im not use to drawing in pencil and coloring under it, so I just need to practice more with that and find "techniques" to help drive that and fix area's I dont like as much... etc. That's all.
