I feel exactly the same as you, screaming 'screw you anatomy' as I draw- plus tutorials don't ever feel natural to me, it's like I have no solid pattern to drawing, I just do this and that then change here and there multiple times.
Don't worry about your anatomy though, it's great as it is! All I can really say is try to get into a comfortable method of predicting what the anatomy of a figure looks like through strange shapes or whatever- whatever is comfortable for you is what's important. Screw nitpickers.

:I I used to do that all too often, but as a pass-time I try and draw stupidly ridiculous poses as doodles and it's helping me relax into experimenting...I can't really suggest all that much other than just drawing stock stuff or contortionists. 8'I I hate anatomy so much.

im actually jealous that you can mirror the image and it look the same.
most of the times the face looks deformed when i mirror it.
