I disagree, I find that the game is one of the best warhammer games out there, as well as one of the best Total war games ever made.  

With the destruction of the Warhammer World,  its one of the few ways anyone can experience Warhammer Fantasy in its old glories,  rather than the ridiculous Age of Sigmar nonsense, which is a cheap, butchered, bastardized reworking of Warhammer fantasy.    I forever hold a grudge against GW for destroying my beloved Warhammer fantasy!

Its also a great way to play Warhammer without having to spend hundreds of dollars on miniatures.   

Sure the DLC is somewhat annoying, but Its a hell of alot cheaper than the actual tabletop hobby.    and much more convenient.
