The only reason he became the way he is, is because Isaac found fun in killing people. And as the story said, Jack was to adapt to everything Isaac liked and so he became just that. But unfortunately, Jack killed Isaac and Jack's interests remained the same because of that. That's how I see it anyway.

I totally agree with you on that matter but I think of it like victims of abuse or even Home-stock syndrome. After so long being alone all he wanted was for Isaac to love him again, he saw what Isaac enjoyed and thought he would probably like it. All well
