marlene from okage: shadow king. the greates video game in existannce, and one that i've almost beaten, i'm having problems getting through the library.i tried the same pixelated style as before but only doing her skin to try and add emphasis. it didn't work

That game kicked so much ass, and the princess ruled. In fact I think I should probably play that game again. Excellent job.

it really did kick ass, so much so that it's my favorite. sucks to you kingdom hearts.
but i'm sorry to say that i wasn't to fond of the princess at the beginning of the game

Hmmm, I remember vaguely her being very whiny and needy. But they did usch a wonderful job on her character I didn't even care. And yes, Kingdom hearts is... much fun, but there are a few drawbacks to the story. Giving Kairi a Keyblade and the simple fact that Roxas didn't really appear to do much. (I could've totally gotten on board with Roxas being the hero of the second game) I also kinda liked the setup they had for ansem at the end of the first game... not so much the second.
Uhh, yeah. I'm a game freak. I could go on for hours. (Shuts up and back away nevously)

last time i was able to i had a 3 hours dicussion on which or the disgaea series hero's was best. i personally enjoy being a game freak.
KH2 would have been great if it was centered around roxas, he has a lot more personality than sora. i'm not to fond of them giving mickey a keyblade either. I also imagine KH2 was harder for the younger players to follow.

Hmmm, I dunno. Mickey was set up to be some kind of great king so it didn't really bother me when he had a KeyBlade. But now that I think about it, damn if he was so tough why did Sora end up doing all the work in the KH1.
And now I am definately going to have to play Okage again... right after I'm done with Okami... Damn Oka___ games are so good. I think the only characters that really bug me are the ones that come off as Mary Sue, Gary Stu types. You know, the ones that don't have any really issues but still spend five episodes crying about there problems. That's two and a half hours of eye rolling right there. Or whatever they do works out in their favor in a spontanious one in a million chance and then they get hailed as heros as if they planned it. That's my main reason for intense dislike of the naruto series, FFX2, and season four of Digimon, minor dislike of bleach, and Madd love for Full Metal Alchemist, Digimon season 3, and Megaman Legends. Wooooo~
As for which Disgea hero was best, that's a tough one. I say, LAHARL! Roselin was cool, but her power was inversely propotionate to her personality, which saddened me.

to me mickey just doesn't look the part, i know it's shallow but i can't help it. but having him around was a huge help when i was getting my ass kicked.
gary's and mary's drive me up the wall, so i've come to hate most main steam anime and games. i couldn't give a damn about final fantasy, inu yasha, naruto, yu gi oh GX (i admit the first one is cool if you ignore the cards, and yugi), and i'm not fond of FMA either, oh ad gundam to that list too.
i do forgive renton from eueka 7 for being a cry baby, but he's the only one.
digimon season 3 rocked, i likes it better than 2, but right now it's tied with the first.
when we argued we also included makai kingdom, and phantom brave. laraharl is a basic sterotypical character, but he pulls it off, the only cool thing about adell was his tie, i enjoued how rozalin was a closet prisim ranger fan but thats it, zetta was really bad ass, but my favorite is still ash from phantom brave. i can't help rooting for him when he says 'for her sake i will not fail'

LOL. Okay okay, about Mickey I can understand. granted he doesn't come off very... umm fighting...ish.
And I agree with you about most the mainstream animes. Don't ask me why but I watched beyblade once and it was so bad I think I tried to attack my TV. Inuyasha, It was nice when i started watcing it, but it ran on far too long. YuGiOh... That series bugs me, they lay it on so thick I can't take it seriousally, and everyone looks like they could stab you with some part of their hair. Gundamn... Don't really have anything against it, didn't really inspire a fan out me either though.
But I did like Final Fantasy 6 and 7, at least before they added all that crap onto seven. Kefka and Sephiroth were the best bad guys ever... cept for Lezard Valeth. And Terra and Cloud were some of the most kickass hero's ever, at least back when Cloud was still a total badass and not a big shiny angst machine for the fan-girls to fawn over.
FMA, well that's just one of the best animes I've ever seen. I think it's about 24 episodes in when it just takes off. Ed and and All never become overpowered or hard to relate too. Envy, Gluttony, Lust, and... well that whole group actually manages to pull off the difficult to do trick of being fierce opponents but not without over done like say... every bad guy ever in the dragonball series.
As for Renton... I'm still on the fence about him. I haven't seen the whole series yet, just bits and pieces.
As for the Disgea thing. Well, that adds a whole new espect to it. Zetta was cool, his girlfriend was off her rocker, he was was still pretty sweet. I think he had me laughing for a half an hour straight. I saved before the first encounter with the Thunder God simply so I could hear that line again.
Go forth my loyal battlemonkeys. Kick some ass and BUST A CAP! ...Or something along those lines...
I thought the idea for phantom Brave was good, but that it could've been developed more. As a result I didn't get into it too much.
I think my favourite is... Still Laharl. Your right that he was a stereotypical bad guy, but I like the overwhelming self confidence he had in himself, kinda like he was better than everyone else and they just didn't know it yet. That bit where he puts out a flyer for all wannabe overlords and everybuddy in his kingdom shows up to take him out, even his own servants was a riot. Then his beating the Defender or Earth man making him his vassal, and rewarding Etna for trying to kill him by making her next in line for the throne. Not to mention his, erherm, weaknesses. He was nuts. ahhh, good times. Dinners ready so I gtg, see ya later.

i was into inuyasha for a little while before i knew they were gonna drag it out. just kill naraku and get the whole thing over with. yu gi oh is good because it's laughable, it's hard to watch it while keeping a straight face. especialy the early japeneses episodes that contained yoyo gangs. it's also a lot of fun to get a few cards together and dramatically wave them around.
as for final fantasy i admit i havn't given it a whole lot of my time, i've played 10, a bit of 12, 10-2 and eight, none of them wowed me, and a quarter way through 10 i just got pissed off at the whole game, specifically the characters and the way you procede through it. so i said screw it's been sitting on a shelf ever since.
renton, by all means is a character that i generally wouldn't like, but i think i feel a bit sorry for him, but i think he is a well done character. i'm a huge fan of ray and charles too, ut if you've only seen a few episodes you may not know who they are
i see phantom brave as practice for makai kingdom (i love the morning starts in that game). the battle system needed work, the vanishing after certain number of turns sucked. even though the game wasn't great i still like ash, it's one of the few times i give into my girly instinct. zetta was great, i loe how even as a book he was awesome, how many other bas ass book are there? the sterotype fits laharl beautifuly, but adell was just lame.
the best thing about the series was the baddies, mid-boss, was amazing. the corn in makai kindom made me laugh, the prisim rangers were awesome, and axel rocked

Wow, you managed to play all of squaresoft biggest mistakes. X-2 was a nightmare. The only bit remotely entertaining about that was the extra dungeon because it had Giant Pugs and tonberrys. Let's see, 8 had the worst battle system in any FF game ever. Even if you liked the plot you needed something else to do while you were playing too keep you awake. X... it had some increadible graphics at the time, but your not missing anything if you just leave it on your shelf except for maybe some bleeding heart Yuna moments which I usually slept through anyway. XII wasn't bad, but it was kinda short, a lot of people, myself included, were kinda left wondering... what the hell.
Ahh geez the corn... NO NOT THE CORN! ARRRRGHH!
Anyway. My other bro found a video you might like. It's kingdom hearts... but awww hell. There hasn't been a single opening of theirs I haven't enjoyed. I still like the first one. Uhh, unfortunatley it's on a flash site so I can't give you a direct address.

yuna was my least favorite character, the only people i really liked were auron and rikku (my usernames has absolutly nothing to do with her or KH riku, i started useing it wayy before either of them came out)
i forgot to mention dirge of cerberus as well, i died with in two minuites the first time i played that game
