Ya....true...and the Wesson could have been an oily one at that! It also reminds me of the "Yours, mine and ours house in the original movie with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda! Does the name Meux Mansion ring a bell? Not sure if I spelled it right. Did I mention that I got to take a trip back east to Pennsylvania a few years ago when I single? Yeppers, I went to Harrisburg, PA (met a guy online who flew all the way to Oregon first to meet me) and the architecture was mostly houses like this, older, made from bricks, many rooms and odd shaped(octagons)add ons, at least 3 stories tall....they mostly restore their homes instead of tearing them down and building new ones. Scenery was great but the weather SUCKED!!! Too damn HUMID for me!!! Hershey Park was fun but not as fun as Disneyland. Got to see Eddie Money when I was there and went to a concert given by a local recording band called "The Badlees", their music is awesome! I'll send you one of their songs "Angeline is Coming Home"....more later, Sheri

Hey Ric! The drawing is spectacular....I would LOVE to spend a night there....especially a cold, windy, rainy night, with lightening and thunder...have to have lots of scented candles! Did I mention that my new married last name is WINCHESTER? Yes, and yesss My hubby is related to the old crazy lady (his great, great aunt Sarah Winchester) who built the mystery house! What a shame she left all her money to the state. She had a hard time after Mr. Winchester passed away I believe his name was Oliver. She had a daughter who passed away as a baby and they couldn't have any more children....poor thing was barren and it somehow affected her in a very bad way mentally, so supposedly when her hubby passed she went to a fortune teller who told her during a seance if she didnt keep building onto her house the spirits of all of the people who were ever killed by a Winchester rifle would come back and haunt her. Something like that....anyway Kevin missed out on a WHOLE lot of money as he would have been an heir to that fortune. Oh well, the Winchester legacy lives on! Sheri

Hey, D-S, I'm sorry I'm so long getting back to you; I THANK YOU SO MUCH for your Fave and nice reviews of my art.
Although I titled the Piece NEWLYWEDS, it's really all about the house, y'know; I wanted to try rendering a Haunted House, but rather than just drawing a building, I wanted to do something interesting with it---hence the couple in the forground. As always, it's not nearly what I had pictured n my head, but overall I'm pleased with it.....
THANK YOU for stopping by, Spectre.....

Well THANK YOU!!! ...but I'm wondering something: when you typed "pwnsome", I'm wondering if that is a typo for "awesome"---I'm curious because the "a" is nowhere near the "p", and the "n" is far away from the "e", and I'm wondering if you actually DID mean to type "pwnsome" and I just don't know what that means....????
...whatever the case, I REALLY REALLY THANK YOU for the FAVE and the niceset compliment I have ever received,!!!

....wouldn't it be great to live in a house like this, with all the twists and turns and Secret Rooms and Chandeliers, staircases and oak bannisters, fireplaces and Libraries and Drawing Rooms, etc. Creepy and Elegant, y'know?????

.....been there----it's interesting, but not particularly spooky. (things like a stairway that leads up to the ceiling and ends there---quirky, but hardly mysterious....)
I'm refering to huge houses like in the movies---Gothic and shadowed, The House of Usher, things like that. Of course, I wouldn't want to be the one who has to keep it dusted......

Yup and I loved the game. I just finished beating God of War 2 which was too awesome. Bloody, gory, awesome use of Roman mythology, and beautifully done on the PS2. If you got a PS2 and want to play an awesome action platformer type of game, just post here and I can drop the game off at your house.
Other than that, I've been playing Guitar Hero 2 which is so much fun. Yes...I should be playing real guitar and learning that better, but GH2 is so much fun and more enjoyable to fool around with.

....I gave my PS2 to my Daughter, but WallyWorld has them for $130 bucks now, so soon, soon......and God of War #1 is a Greatest Hits now for $20.00, so I'll probably start there.....
