Before Kazooie, Banjo had only Conker.During the time of the races on Timber's Island, Conker was the youngest, Banjo was the eldest. Conker was silly and hyperactive, Banjo was shy and fairly independent. The only reason they got stuck together was because of their shared fascination by a certain Breegull egg Banjo carried around at all times...
But being exhausted can do a lot of things to a young squirrel. Conker gets homesick, and to prevent the guy from crying and waking up everyone, Banjo takes him to a quiet part of the woods to talk about it. Talking doesn't really happen, but Conker eventually quiets down and falls asleep next to his friend.Β
Playing Diddy Kong Racing, I've always seen Banjo and Conker as friends for some reason. Didn't get off on the right foot at once, but became pretty good friends afterwards.
Tried a different style this time. Thin line art!Bring up the hunting trophy above the Cock and the Plucker's fireplace and you will be frowned at loudly.

Well, amazing news! Banjo-Kazooie became playable fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! It is so very exciting to see Banjo-Kazooie as playable fighters in Super Smash Bros., not to mention I always remember thinking about them along with Conker and the characters from Diddy Kong Racing in a Mario game! That's what this reminds me of! Now is the time for Banjo-Kazooie to have a new game or a remaster!Β Β

Your DKR backstories are all so creative! I've always seen these two as friends as well. I imagine them reuniting and hanging out after they've both completed their adventures and just reminiscing on their old DKR days. I really wish Microsoft would properly utilize Rare. :< Or if they're just going to let it rot like they have for so long, just sell it back to Nintendo!

I feel the same feeling that gives me this drawing but I imagine in another way.
I imagine Diddy, great Banjo's Β and Conker's pal, feeling very sad and nostalgic because, even though he and his beloved mentor DonkeyΒ enjoy of a great reputation with their other friends at Nintendo, in the deep Diddy cry so much the absence of his old friends, great friends that despite knowing for a little while on the Timber's Island during these so funny races in Diddy Kong Racing, they had a great brotherhood ties that were destroyed.Β Β

I like the description, but I look at this picture as representing Microsoft abandoning them after buying the rights to them. So we might never see a new Banjo or Conker game.
But also Conker looks so cute and vulnerable, so it's appropriate if it's pre-BFD Conker.

I'm kind of tired of all the Microsoft bashing because Nintendo's just as much at fault as Microsoft is for not buying the 49% of Rare shares when they had the chance.Β To be honest, I'm kind of glad they didn't make a sequel to Bad Fur Day. It would completely disregard everything Conker did and learned in BFD. As for Banjo, we'll probably see him again, I don't doubt that.Β

Conker and Banjo appeared in Diddy Kong Racing, and Diddy Kong appears in Mario spin-offs... but I prefer to think DK, Banjo and Conker are in a little universe of their own that's somehow subtly connected to Mario's (with warp pipes maybe?)Β

The quality of the drawing is very good. Very clear and easy to read. Maybe the tail could use some volume and it could maybe wrap around him more and overlap Banjos pants. What you think about that? I definitely gonna fav this
